Previous exhibitions 2019 BULBOMANIA - Fête de la Tulipe - Morges Switzerland The city of Morges exclusively presented within this event the Dutch artist Miek Verdegaal. This solo exhibition, BULBOMANIA at Espace 81 showcased her oil-paintings of the astonishing beauty of flowering bulbs. Located in the beautiful and lively heart of Morges and on short distance to the Parc de l'Indépendance by the lake named Lac Leman. After her education at the "Royal Academie of Art The Hague", she completely dedicated herself to painting and also instructs therein. She has many exhibitions to her name and is well-known in the region. Her work has been included in both a private collection and within the permanent collection of the museum De Zwarte Tulip in Lisse. Museum de Zwarte Tulp The museum paints an enthralling picture of the remarkable ‘bulb-to-flower-to-bulb’ cycle by means of: pictures, photos and videos on the working of soil; bulb culture artifacts; shed interiors; and a small specialized library.
